As a self confessed nerd and socially awkward introvert, I used to think that if I just kept my head down and worked hard, recognition would naturally follow. Boy, was I wrong! Being a quiet achiever got me nowhere & left me ill-equipped to advocate for myself. Looking for new jobs I felt even worse. I'd craft countless CVs and cover letters, stumble through nerve-wracking interviews, and wonder more and more with each rejection if I had anything worthwhile to offer. Sound familiar?

It all changed one unassuming Tuesday afternoon, lamenting with a friend about the unfairness of it all. A less skilled colleague snagged a role I'd applied for simply because he knew how to talk the talk. And that's when it hit me: Progressing your career requires a whole different skill set from just doing your job.

Armed with my new epiphany, I dove headfirst into becoming a career navigation expert. I devoured every article, questioned people who'd landed roles, and sought advice from recruiters and coaches. I experimented, stumbled, but also succeeded. A new job with better pay led to promotions, and suddenly, the floodgates opened with job offers pouring in. Interviews became a breeze, and soon enough, I went from a job I loathed, earning 60K per year, to a fulfilling role where I thrived and had more than tripled my salary.

People noticed. Friends started asking how I did it, and soon, their friends were asking too. With my help they finally saw progress in their careers, moving into new and more fulfilling roles, securing long overdue promotions, working under better managers, and earning salaries that reflected their worth. I solidified my hard-won knowledge into a fail-proof process helping my clients land their dream roles by leveraging their strengths.
